New Dumbest Criminal Pops Up on Facebook

I was on Facebook for a while. Soon enough, I determined it was dumb and quickly exited the social networking site. My point is well founded as the dumbest criminal on earth has used Facebook to post pictures of himself and a stolen computer.

The “dumbest criminal ever” took a picture of himself with the laptop he stole, then posted the photo on the owner’s Facebook page. The owner, Marc Fisher, a Washington Post reporter said the thief also took an iPod, cash and other items. Then, when not satisfied with his theft, he sneered into the camera and posted the image for 400 social media friends to see.

The photo also showed the thief wearing an ill-gotten winter coat from Macy’s. When he snapped the photo with a hood pulled up, the shot clearly showed his face.

Voilà, the newest dumb criminal unveiled. Problem is, the police have yet to apprehend the criminal, at least as of this writing. But it won’t take long.
